roar! it's a lion!

I went to another baby shower for a new baby boy over the weekend and of course made a toy to gift. I had a rough time figuring out the perfect toy this time. After talking to the mother's sister, I decided on making a lion. Stacey from FreshStitches is updating patterns this summer and made a new lion that is absolutely adorable. The pattern isn't being released until sometime next month, so I decided to look at the picture and give it a try myself.


He turned out pretty darn cute, the mane is not as ruffly as Stacey's lion but I'm still very happy with him. I'm going to definitely make another lion when the pattern is released!
